Regardless of the size of your estate, if you own a home you need to take the proper steps to protect it.
What will happen to your business upon your death or if you become disabled? Is there a succession plan in place?
Having the proper Estate Plan in place makes life much easier in the event of the death of a spouse.
Regardless of your age or the age of your children, an Estate Plan assures that your children’s needs will be addressed if you die or become incapacitated.
As you enter in to your “golden years”, it is critical to address issues such as Beneficiaries, Medical Directives, and Powers of Attorney.
When issues such as divorce and children from prior marriages are present, special care must be taken to avoid unintended disinheritance.
